Elsworth Completes Successful Shakedown at Donnington Park 22.03.2020

After collecting his new F190 Sigma upgrade two weeks ago, Jonathan Elsworth took his car for it’s first official run out at Donnington Park.
The purpose of the day was a shake down for new upgrade and to give Jonathan the opportunity to experience the increase in performance compared to what he had before. Previously the car was a standard Caterham 140 Supersport before having the Premier Power F190 upgrade.
Jonathan commented;
‘’What a fantastic and successful first shake down day, to experience the difference between the car in standard 140 Supersport and the new Premier Power F190 upgrade was amazing! The throttle response was instant out of every corner and the car pulls hard all the way to the 8000rpm rev limit – I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time.
It was also great to see that even on the shakedown and taking things reasonably steady, I already broke my Time Attack class record and PB time from 2019 – A great sign hopefully of things to come this season.’’
Jonathan plans to compete in this years UK Time Attack Championship. This features all types of performance cars out on circuit at the same time, trying to achieve the quickest lap time, similar to a qualifying session for a normal race meeting. Premier Power plan to follow Jonathan’s achievements this year with updates on our website.
