Good weather attracts crowds to Premier Power's second open day
1st October 2013
Last Sunday saw Premier Power open its doors again. The event was well supported by many Caterham owners and enthusiasts, the ideal weather meaning many took advantage to bring their cars along. On display were customer’s cars including Richard Malley’s F155 Road Sport SV Caterham, Cyrille Sainz CSR with its Premier Power prepared 270 brake horse power 2.3 Duratec. Also on display was Alvin Powell’s 1994 historic Mondeo British Touring Car, originally driven by Paul Radisich to win Ford’s 200 touring car victory, as well as the 1994 World Cup race at Monza. The engine in this car is now prepared by Premier Power along with the rest of Alvin’s Ford Touring Car Collection.
Visitors were also given passenger rides in three Premier Power tuned Sigma Caterhams. As well as this there was the opportunity to wonder around the engine build shop and see the level of detail the company goes to, to produce its engines. Premier Power also put on a presentation on engine management systems which turned into a forum. This was enjoyed by not only those who attended but by Premier Power staff. It made visitors aware of the functionality of the ECUs the company can supply as well as gave Premier Power interesting feedback from driver’s experiences.
Whilst these events are planned as a social get together, anyone seriously interested in upgrading their car can contact Premier Power for a one to one meeting to discuss their plans further.
