Premier Powers track support service offers customers a greater confidence in our products. Whilst they are busy looking after the day to day operation of running their vehicles, we are on hand to ensure they are not only getting the best performance from our products, but also to ensure this is done reliably.
We are also on hand to make any recommendations that could improve vehicle performance from an engine installation perspective. This service also allows us to continue to develop our products in that we can optimise engine performance on the dyno but restrictive issues regarding the engine installation may mean we are unable to replicate that same level of performance in the vehicle.
We use ECUs with built in data loggers to measure and record exactly what’s going on when the engine is running. Any problems, faults or performance restricting issues can be addressed before poor race results or engine damaged has occurred. We work with the customer, whether that be race engineer, driver or otherwise to ensure they are getting the most from our products. This may involve helping a customer with gear ratio selection or even gear selection in a particular part of a circuit. We may be able to see from our data that there are temperature control issues affecting performance. We may also be able to identify where an engine installation has not been set up correctly. Where we have optimised the engine on the dyno for ultimate performance, the supply service in the vehicle may not have been set up the same causing a restricted performance issue.
Our track support service is a confidential service and data on our laptops is only shared with the customer owning that ECU from which that data has come. We do not show our other customers the data from other customers ECUs.
