Premier Power & Warwickshire 7’s attend Wight Blat 2013
23rd April 2013
Premier Powers F200 Sigma powered Caterham attended this weekends mixed weather annual event on the Isle of Wight. Around 80 cars attended the event which was based at the islands Shanklin Hotel.
The event started on Thursday night with cars starting to descend on the island, with the majority of cars arriving on Friday. Saturday’s wet conditions did not detour many with visitors attending the Monkey and Owl Sanctuary in the morning, the marina at Cowes at lunchtime and the watermill on Saturday afternoon.
Alex’s legendary raffle went down a storm (no pun intended) on Saturday evening during the annual ball. Last year’s Lotus 7 Owners Club award for the best organised event was awarded to the Wight Blat organisers and was justifiably deserved.
Sunday’s weather was a little kinder with many people returning home.
On behalf of all those who attended this weekend, we would all like to thank Alex, Simon, Lou, Dizz and Hilary who organised the event and also for standing out in appalling weather in those hi visibility vests showing us where to go!!.
Once we’ve finished drying out, we’ll all looking forward to the Wight Blat 8.
