Premier Powered cars dominated this weekend’s Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch.
The end of season blue ribbon event, previously won by Formula one stars like Jenson Button, Mark Webber, Anthony Davison and Johnny Herbert was won this weekend by Danish Driver Dennis Lind driving a Fluid Motorsport, Premier Powered Van Diemen.
Dennis who also won the Euro cup event held at Zandvoort earlier this year won not only the Festival final but also heat 2 and semi final 1.
JTR driver Tio Ellinas finished third and set the fastest lap in the final having qualified on pole. Team mate James Tucker also drove well, setting fastest laps in his heat and semi final. Michel Florie, the 51 year old flying Dutchman was the first Benelux Championship contender to cross the line in the final, finishing a creditable six place. “The results this weekend have been amazing, all our drivers have performed well”.
